Why now
Many useful custom systems were historically difficult for smaller businesses to justify. The need for a system was real, but the process might only involve a few spreadsheets, several tools, and the knowledge of a handful of people.
AI-assisted development changes that calculation. A small, nimble consultancy can now design, build, document, and maintain focused automations with less delivery overhead. We think businesses should use that change to modernize the manual work their existing software leaves behind.
How we work
Small and direct. You talk to the person learning the process and building the system rather than an account manager relaying messages. One person stays responsible from the first conversation through ongoing maintenance.
Projects are scoped around the work as it actually happens, not forced into a predetermined package. The technology is our responsibility; the people doing the work should be able to explain the problem in their own language.

Our team has professional experience working with muddy data in opaque systems. We've optimized spreadsheet based systems, helped consolidate staff feedback, automated complex customer service workflows, designed document ingestion pipelines, and more. Whatever the challenge, we're confident we can find the right solution.
We keep the team small and solutions simple. The way we see it, it's an advantage to work with a small firm that's going to find the right way to help. We've seen big tech companies push businesses into products that don't really fit what's required, and we're unimpressed. Where custom solutions are better, so are we.
